Welcome to Housekeeping Portal ("we," "our," "us", "company"). By accessing or using our website or mobile application (the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). We provide professional housekeeping and cleaning services. The specific terms, conditions, and fees associated with these services are outlined during the initial conversation/quote process and may vary based on your location and requirements.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of our Service, you may need to create or use an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information as necessary.

In some cases, we may automatically create accounts for clients to streamline the process of accessing our services. If an account is created on your behalf, you will receive a notification with instructions for accessing and managing your account. 4. Payment Information
4.1 Collection and Use of Payment Information

By providing your payment information, you authorize us to securely store your card details through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Stripe complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), ensuring your payment information is encrypted and handled securely. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

4.2 Non-Removal Policy

Once a payment method is added, it cannot be removed until all outstanding balances for prior cleaning services have been paid in full. This policy ensures all obligations are settled before modifying or removing payment methods. Additionally, the Company reserves the right to determine when a payment method may be removed at its sole discretion, even if all balances have been cleared.

4.3 Compliance with Privacy Laws

In compliance with California privacy laws, your payment information is used solely for transaction purposes and is not shared with any third parties beyond what is necessary to process your payment. For more information, please review our Privacy Policy and Stripe's Privacy Policy.

4.4 Authorization to Charge Added Payment Method

By providing your payment information, you authorize Housekeeping Portal to charge the payment method you have added to your account for any outstanding balances related to services rendered, including but not limited to cleaning services, cancellation fees, and any applicable fees. You acknowledge that once you provide your payment information, you do not need to provide separate authorization for each individual charge. This authorization is in effect as long as you have an outstanding balance for services rendered, and it is consistent with California's Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other applicable California laws regarding payment processing. You may update or remove your payment method in accordance with our policies outlined above.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Cancellations

You may cancel or reschedule your cleaning appointment at least 2 weeks before the scheduled time without penalty. Cancellations made less than 2 weeks in advance may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Refunds are issued at the Company's discretion and are typically provided only in cases where services were not completed. If you are dissatisfied with the quality of our services, we encourage you to contact us within 4 hours of the completion of your appointment to request a resolution.
